Beach Excursion – 1 Hour

Starting from the stable of our Equestrian Center on a path surrounded by a wonderful green landscape, with beautiful flowers and the characteristic intense smell of Mediterranean scrub, we will reach the beach of Lu Postu (Sciumara).

The beach surrounding the Gulf of Arzachena is an ideal place to ride, both for beginners and experts. You will enjoy the quiet and charming atmosphere, not far from the renowned Emerald Coast. Your experienced instructor will guide you through wonderful stretches of water. Upon request, we will provide the unforgettable experience of horseback bathing.

Protected area excursion – 1 hour

This excursion will take you to the protected wildlife area called Padula Saloni, established in 1979 and located behind the Gulf of Arzachena and Lu Postu beach. This is an area of just under 400 hectares of farmland, Mediterranean scrub, 33 hectares of which are occupied by a freshwater pond (a “padula,” as they call it in Gallura). The main feature of this wetland is the extraordinary biodiversity of its fauna, especially its bird species, which are considered among the most valuable in northern Sardinia. Several studies have updated Padula Saloni’s bird species count to 180, including 77 breeding species. Our tour will take you through vast areas of marshland, offering an intense and unique natural experience.

Hill Hike – 2 Hours

This escurisone combines the two solutions. We will leave from the Equestrian Center’s stable and reach the bird sanctuary by crossing Lu Postu beach, then climb the hills surrounding the town of Cannigione. You will experience breathtaking views of the coastline and the Maddalena archipelago.
